In case you missed it, at IBC 2025 DELTACAST debuted the DELTA-12G-e-h 8c, a high-density 4K 12G-SDI capture and playout board designed for very high-performance video applications, offering hardware features that allow it to handle demanding uncompressed video formats, including:
- 8 channels 12G-SDI, fully configurable as inputs or outputs
- Each channel supports uncompressed video up to 4K60. They can be teamed to handle up to 2x 8K60
- Genlock reference input (Blackburst/TriLevel) with a loop-through output, and Linear Timecode input
- Full-height, half-length (FHHL) form factor
- PCIe Gen4 x8 electrical interface
- Almost 0 CPU consumption, NVIDIA GPUDirect® RDMA support, Ultimate Low Latency (ULL), advanced packings, proxy scalers, HDR formats support, application buffers, SDI signal error diagnostic, audio and metadata extraction and embedding.
