Launched one year ago at IBC 2016, DELTACAST’s VideoMaster SDK software streaming solution allows developers designing IP ingest and playout products based on OTS network cards. The first implemented standard is SMPTE ST2022-6, and our technical teams closely follow SMPTE ST2110 standard evolutions towards an official publication.

As both a hardware and software company, DELTACAST commits itself to supporting early adopters of these new IP streaming technologies, thanks to its SMPTE ST2022-6 capture and playout cards and to its revolutionary software streaming solution.

We are very proud to intimately collaborate with CISCO, undoubtedly a major actor whom huge background in networking will positively impact the evolution of the broadcast industry to IT-centric worlflows and tools.

At IBC 2017 CISCO is demonstrating technology for the next major industry transition in live media production after the adoption of IP - the move from dedicated appliances to software running in the generic data centre.

DELTACAST’s VideoMaster software generation of SMPTE 2022-6 can be seen running as part of the next generation data centre demonstration on the CISCO stand at IBC 2017 (1.A71 Hall 1).
