Looking for a 4K reference source signal?

Ans, Belgium – 15 October 2013 – With a lot of movements and developments around 4K, it is mandatory to have good SDI reference signals available in order to test and evaluate your solutions.

DELTACAST answers this demand with the latest version of the TPG-2000, which generates 4K frames (3840x2160 or 4096x2160) on four-quadrant SDI links.

This allows generation of patterns in UHDTV-1 or 4K DCI resolutions at frame rates up to 60 fps.

The physical SDI interfaces are 4x HD SDI (SMPTE 292M) for 2160p up to 30Hz or 4x3G Level A (SMPTE 425-1) for 2160p up to 60Hz. 4K test patterns are generated in 10-bit 4:2:2 YUV.

The following patterns are available in UDHTV-1 or 4K-DCI: Colour Field, 75% Colour Bars, Grey Step H, Grey Step V, Check Field, Equalizer Test, PLL Test, Luma Ramp, Multiburst and Cross-Hatch.

This new software release is available for FREE on our website, and thus existing customers can upgrade their TPG-2000 accordingly.
