Today MainConcept customers can use DELTA-sdi, DELTA-hd, DELTA-3G, DELTA-codec and DELTA-dvi video card families together with MainConcept codecs to design live broadcast encoder and decoder applications.

Thanks to the VideoMasterHD SDK and the MainConcept Reference SDK, this can be done with minimum effort and upfront investment.

The aim of this connection between the two SDKs is to combine live video reception or transmission with encoding or decoding.

  • About VideoMasterHD

VideoMasterHD is the DELTACAST OEM SDK, containing C/C++ API, DLL library and drivers. This unified SDK supports all the uncompressed DELTACAST products:. SDI-SD, SDI-HD, SDI-3G as well as DVI-D, DVI-A and Component Analog video cards. VideoMasterHD is praised for its specific OEM focus, high-performance features, easy integration and excellent documentation.

  • About MainConcept Reference SDK

The MainConcept Reference SDK is built upon the MainConcept Codec SDK library and contains a powerful transcoding engine that enables developers to create their own transcoding applications for converting video files into other formats for delivery of compliant video/audio streams for Blu-ray Disc, Sony PSP, Apple iPod, DVD, HD DVD, the whole Sony XDCAM portfolio, Adobe Flash, Panasonic P2AVC-Intra and DVCPRO, etc... You can even create and edit XML based transcoding presets and use them in your own applications. The MainConcept Reference SDK offers import via DirectShow, QuickTime, GStreamer as well as MPEG and H.264/AVC. Powerful features, such as watermarking, watch folder and batch list transcoding allow you to create versatile conversion tools yourself that are similar to the renowned MainConcept Reference application or related transcoding software.
