DELTACAST Boards Fully Leverage Sonnet Thunderbolt™ 5 Expansion Systems

DELTACAST recently launched the DELTA-12G-e-h 8C, a new board designed to deliver high-density 12G-SDI workflows with exceptional performance.

This new reference is based on PCI Express Gen 4, making it the first I/O board in the DELTACAST portfolio to feature this technology and the only SDI card to deliver the results listed below.

In partnership with Sonnet, DELTACAST conducted a series of tests using Thunderblot™ 5  expansion systems. We are excited to share the results:

• In RX mode, theDELTA-12G-e-h 8C can ingest up to 4x 4K60 streams.
• In TX mode, the board can output up to 4x 4K60 streams.
• In bidirectional mode, the board can handle up to 3x 4K60 inputs and 3x 4K60 outputs simultaneously.
• One channel of 8K60 is supported, in reception or in transmission.

These results make the DELTA-12G-e-h 8C a standout solution for high-density 4K workflows, bringing powerful capabilities to professional video applications.
