DELTACAST announces two new compact multi-channel SDI capture cards

Tuesday, March 20, 2012 - DELTACAST announces two new compact multi-channel SDI capture cards

DELTACAST introduces the DELTA-hd-elp-d 80, with 8 HD SDI inputs and the DELTA-3G-elp-d 40, with 4 3G SDI inputs.

Both cards use PCIe GEN 2 technology to ensure the simultaneous transfer of up to HD SDI streams to the PC on a single PCIe slot.

DELTACAST achieved to implement the design on a half-length low-profile form factor, targetting 1RU platforms. This implies the use of DIN 1.1/2.3 connectors instead of the classical BNC connectors.

Both products will be supported by the extremely popular VideoMasterHD OEM SDK.

“This is another significant milestone in our history” said Christian Dutilleux, CEO of DELTACAST, “Once more we take profit from the technology progress to propose new cards, with more channels and more performances. Our move towards compact cards is an important step corresponding to market expectations.”

These new DELTACAST products will be showcased on the DELTACAST booth SL8006 at the NAB show in Las Vegas from 16-19 April 2012 and will be in production and available for purchase in May 2012.
