Wednesday, July 02, 2014 - DELTACAST eases the life of their OEM customers in different areas including 4K
The latest released version of the OEM VideoMasterHD SDK introduces a significant extension and eases the life of our OEM customers even more with 3 major updates:
4K60 support on our HDMI™ capture card
The DELTA-h4k-elp 20 is a dual-channel, HDMI™ 1.4, capture card. This PCI low-profile solution can simultaneously ingest two independent HDMI™ streams at up to 4096x2160 30fps or 1920x1080 120fps. With this new firmware upgrade, it it can capture one HDMI™ 4096x2160 60fps stream in 4:2:0 pixel encoding as defined in HDMI 2.0 standard and recently supported by latest generation nVIDIA Kepler cards.
The full support of our new SFP video cards
At NAB, DELTACAST introduces new SFP low-profile video cards, which are now fully supported in the VideoMasterHD OEM SDK. These cards host 1 or 2 SFP modules for interfacing. SFP modules are small form-factor pluggable transceivers, and are available with a variety of transmitter and receiver types. Today, DELTACAST already supports a large set of copper and fibre SDI transmission and reception modules from EMBRIONIX, and dedicated converters for interfaces like HDMI and composite video allowing even using a mix of the modules available on the same card.
The integration of our ASI cards in the VideoMasterHD SDK
DELTACAST’s portfolio of ASI video interface cards has 15 different models, going from 1 input and/or output, up till 8 inputs or outputs on the same video card. These models are now fully supported in our VideoMasterHD SDK as well, and we thus cover our complete set of products with just one OEM SDK, making it easier for adopters to switch between the different video standards. And today this even means between uncompressed and compressed video as well.
