DELTACAST announces the new DELTA-3G-e-key 22 designed for OEM’s to create real-time hardware 1080p keyer solutions.

The DELTA-3G-e-key 22 is the latest addition to the DELTA-key range of real-time keyer video cards developed to create OEM applications such as Video Overlay, Character Generator, Graphical Animation… and this based on the latest 3G SDI technology (SMPTE 424M) used in the popular DELTA-3G family.

“This is another milestone in our products proposal, the DELTA-key family was currently addressing SD and HD applications only. With this new member we are now able to tackle SD - HD - 3G SDI applications all with the same card." said Christian Dutilleux, CEO of DELTACAST.“It is a must for us to follow all the technical and market evolutions: operating systems, PC interfaces…and digital video interfaces. All the evolutions are included within our SDK, staying backwards compatible with our existing products, thanks to our continuous R&D program and very experienced hardware and software development team. So it is very easy for our customers to adapt their products to the new standards..."

Besides the 1080p real-time hardware keyer inside DELTA-3G-e-key 22, this card also benefits from features of the DELTA-3G-e 22 such as:

  • 3D stereoscopic support
  • Simultaneous capture and playback
  • Flexible clocking
  • Ancillary & VBI data insertion/extraction
  • ...

The card works with the VideoMasterHD OEM SDK like for all the DELTACAST uncompressed video cards.

For the 3G SDI (SMPTE 424M) development, limited sources are for the moment available on the market and DELTACAST is currently developing a 3G SDI Test Pattern Generator, which will definitively help our OEM customers to design, validate and test their new 3G SDI-based products.
